Healthy Living for Body Conscious Teenagers
All people my age are conscious of the way they look but most teens also put all the wrong things into their bodies. In my case I wanted to lose a little bit of weight, look more toned and get rid of my spots. I know I love sweet things so I thought I would try and train myself to prefer other things.
I really enjoyed finding out more about which foods are good for you and which ones aren't. That information has really made me think about my diet.
It's hard to eat healthily as a teenager because you eat what everyone around you eats. My friends questioned what I was doing when I started choosing salads and fresh juices instead of the usual snack foods but once I realized how good these things were making me feel I didn't mind.
